This is Canada's 'reward' for backing out??

Farsnews

TEHRAN (FNA)- Military sources announced on Monday that the warplane that bombarded the Iraqi army's military positions in Anbar province on Sunday belonged to Canada's Air Force.
The announcement came after Arab media outlets reported that a fighter jet of the US-led coalition has hit Iraqi forces' positions again.
"The warplane that hit the Iraqi army positions in the city of Fallujah in Al-Anbar province was Canadian," the Arabic-language al-Soumeria news website quoted an Iraqi military source as saying today.
Nine Iraqi Security Forces soldiers were confirmed dead in an errant US airstrike last week in support of ground troops in al-Naimiyah, Fallujah. Over 20 total deaths and 30 injuries have been reported in the incident.
The incident came as the Iraqi army had made great advances in Fallujah's Southern peripheries in Anbar province, and retook key buildings.
Meantime, a lawmaker from the Iraqi Parliament’s Al-Muwatin (Citizen Alliance) coalition called for an immediate investigation into a US airstrike that led to the death of Iraqi soldiers.

"The Russian bombers hit heavily the ISIL centers near the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur), Quaryatayn and Maheen over 20 times, inflicting very large damage on the militants' sites," the army said.
"The Syrian fighter jets, for their part, raided the ISIL headquarters and defense lines near the newly liberated village of al-Hadath and the big village of Hawareen," the army added.
"The ISIL sustained a heavy death toll and their military and machinegun-equipped vehicles and ammunition depots were destroyed in the Syrian air attacks," the army said.
"The Syrian and Russian bombers carried out a joint combat operation over the ISIL sites near Maheen and targeted them heavily," the army added.
"The ISIL positions in the surroundings of al-Sharifa near Palmyra, and villages of Ghunaiman, Tafha and Ghziyla in the Eastern side of the ancient city, were massively bombed by the Syrian warplanes," the army added.
"Scores of the militants were killed or wounded in the air attacks near Palmyra," the army added.
"In the meantime, the positions of al-Nusra Front were destroyed in airstrikes in Tair Ma’ala village North of Homs province," the army said.
Earlier reports said that the ISIL terrorists have withdrawn from new territories in the Northern and Northwestern parts of the strategic town of Maheen in the Central Homs Province under the heavy attacks of the Syrian Army and its allies.

By 'more advanced' does that mean the S-500 radar that can track artillery shells? There should be enough copies of the various acts that the ICC could weave together what the views show and what is camera trickery and shoddy reporting compared to intentional deception. It would a shame to see all the vids just end up on the cutting room floor.

Pakistan on Wednesday stated that it is against any attempt to topple the government of Syrian President Bashar al Assad.

"Pakistan is also against foreign military intervention in Syria and fully supports the territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic,” said Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry.

"Pakistan supports all efforts employed at facilitating a peaceful Syrian-led and inclusive solution that meets the aspirations of the Syrian people through a comprehensive political dialogue," added Chaudhry.

It is pertinent to mention that since the start of the Syrian conflict, Pakistan had maintained a policy of strict neutrality. The statement from the foreign secretary marks a significant shift in Pakistan's policy on the ongoing Syrian crisis.

The foreign secretary was speaking at the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, which met earlier at Parliament House in Islamabad.

Pakistan was named as part of the Saudi-led 34-nation anti-terror alliance meant to combat terrorism, without first getting its consent, and found itself in the crosshairs of Middle Eastern politics.

Later, after initial ambiguity, the Pakistan government confirmed its participation in a Saudi-led military alliance for ‘fighting terrorism’, but said the scope of its participation would be defined after Riyadh shared the details of the coalition it was assembling.

That is a good way to get on Iran's good side and they will need to as the US is going to become less influential in the area. They would be the transit route of good going to India and beyond and back again.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA omg that's hilarious. The biggest financial supporter of Islamic terrorism in the Middle East is leading an "anti-terror" alliance.

By all means lay a charge at the ICC and have an independent body verify the claims and give them the authority to lay other charges against either party or even and 3rd parties that may pop up during the original investigation. So sad that the IDF will also become part of the investigation and their logs will show if they also end up with their name on a list. It might be in the interests of the EU to hire the IDF for air support as they will at least hit the stated target and all NATO members will be on the list of usual suspects at the ICC. (rather than than have them be the most popular ones as far as who is on trial. Expand Gaza to be all Gentiles within bombing range and the West Bank can be the 'rebels' that justify an air-force with a black budget. Syria, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, etc.

Russia has lots of cameras and pictures speak louder than just words in this world.

Iranian President Urges Fix for Islam’s Image, Slams Saudi Arabia for Chaos

Rouhani addressed participants of the 29th International Islamic Unity worldwide conference, which began in Tehran on Sunday and will last three days. Talking about Yemen, the Iranian President blamed Saudi Arabia for the misery and violence the Saudi-led airstrikes brought to the country since March, AP reported.
Moreover, he called the aerial campaign of the Arab allies in Yemen and the arming of various groups of Islamists in Syria as the main reasons of the spread of extremism throughout the region, Rudaw reported.
