Webmaster's Commentary:
More to the point,m how many will start leaking if this lame-ass idea of using a nuke on the Deepwater Horizon site is carried out?

That's the key. The idea of using a nuke to shut off the well is completely absurd.

CNN just reported that BP replaced the oil well cap with a wedding ring and it has immediately stopped putting out.

Toxicologists: Corexit “Ruptures Red Blood Cells, Causes Internal Bleeding”, "Allows Crude Oil To Penetrate “Into The Cells” and “Every Organ System"

Now, two toxicologists are saying that Corexit is much more harmful to human health and marine life than we've been told.
Specifically Gulf toxicologist Dr. Susan Shaw - Founder and Director of the Marine Environmental Research Institute - dove into the oil spill to examine the chemicals present.

Why BP is Readying a 'Super Weapon' to Avert Escalating Gulf Nightmare

Thursday, 15 July 2010 10:13

'In a desperate attempt to stop a huge area of the Gulf ocean floor from possibly rupturing due to subterranean methane gas (leading to a calamity no human has ever seen) BP has ripped a page from science fiction books.
The giant oil company is now quietly preparing to test a small nuclear device in a frenzied rush against time to quell a cascading catastrophe. If successful they will have the capability to detonate a controlled fusion generated pulse.'

BP's CEO, Tony Hayward, is expected to resign by the end of September, and be replaced by Robert Dudley, who is in charge of the Gulf Coast restoration efforts now.

BP, has set up a compensation of fund of $20 billion at the dispersal of the U.S. Government, it has cancelled its dividends for the next year, and its shares have lost 40% of their value, worth $70 of billion in lost market capitalization.

Tony Haywood was last seen sailing his yacht in England, after being unceremoniously dumped from his spokesperson role in the Gulf, and giving an object lesson in how NOT to handle a crisis and public relations fiasco.

Happy sailing into retirement, Tony. ;)

BP HAS NUKES!!!! Bomb them! Bomb them! One or two BP employees might not like Israelis.

So where exactly did BP get a nuke?

I saw those 'pictures' of the 'monitoring center' where BP employees were watching the live feeds from all the cameras.

One of the most amateur photoshop jobs I've seen on the net.

Pathetic. Why do these people do such bad jobs faking this stuff?

BP caps DIFFERENT WELL MORE LIES ?

Tags:
Webmaster's Commentary:
This bears further checking, but the gist of the story is that BP drilled two wells (confirmed) abandoned the first one when it got into trouble (also confirmed), then drilled the second well which exploded. The theory put forward on this video is that the media stunt of capping the well was done to the remains of the first well, not the major leak at the Deepwater Horizon site.

WELL #A
Latitude 28.738132500000003
Longitude -88.36592777777777 WELL #B
Latitude 28.73778527777778

Use the above decimal mapping coordinates on the live marine traffic map linked below (as you move the map around, the coordinates change). You will see where the ROVS are in relationship to the TWO well blowouts:
http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/default.aspx?level0=100
It appears the SKANDI NEPTUNE, which has been showing images of the "new cap for the BOP" is at the location of the FIRST well that blew, and NOT the second well (that destroyed the rig).
Note: The marinetraffic website does not have a mechanism for saving the map coordinates in the URL, so after you reach the page, use the pull down menu at left labeled "Go to Vessel" and select SKANDI NEPTUME which will center the ROV ship as well as show a recent track (looks like the ship is being moved at the moment).

Scientists Confirm Matt Simmons Claim by Discovering Two Giant Underwater Oil Spills

Sunday, 25 July 2010 08:55

'It's official -- the oil plumes USF scientists found deep underwater in the Gulf are definitely from the BP blowout. USF researchers said Friday they used chemical fingerprints to directly tie the clouds of oil to the Deepwater Horizon disaster.'

Massive deadly Gulf poisoning warrants evacuations

Experts: Health Hazards in Gulf Warrant Evacuations
Thursday 22 July 2010
by: Rose Aguilar, t r u t h o u t | Report
When Louisiana residents ask marine toxicologist and community activist Riki Ott what she would do if she lived in the Gulf with children, she tells them she would leave immediately. "It's that bad. We need to start talking about who's going to pay for evacuations."
Kaufman and Ott both say the media need to follow the money. The reason why the EPA is covering this up, they say, is because the cost to BP would be astronomical. "The dispersants hide the oil," said Ott. "If you put dispersants in the water, you don't know how much oil was really spilled. Oil fines are based on how much oil was spilled, so it's all about money.""

That's completely ****ing ridiculous.

But I'm not surprised.

Oh, I get it. So, no matter what you do for a living, or where your kids go to school, or what you eat, you need to evacuate the Gulf Coast area?

Makes sense to me.

That decision would be better left to someone who lives there and no longer has a job and can't get anything to eat.
