Ahhhhhh they were off by a mile.....not bad for monolithic.

Try this....360,000 (circle broken into the 1000/ths) x 365.242 (length of the year) divided by 5280 (feet in a mile) and see how close it comes to circumference of the earth at the equator in miles. About 99.99% accurate or not?

That would mean the circumfrence of the earth was known before the foot was invented.
The first known standard foot measure was from --, where a definition is given in a statue of -- of -- from around 2575 BC
That also means they had the equator peged dead center. Not bad for dumb assed cavemen..
Should I go on to the moon and sun or does that still kind of **** with your noggin?
