Holiday shopping: What's the scene at your local mall?

There has been lots of discussion about the recession, low consumer confidence and the possibility of lower retail sales. But, here was the scene at the Toronto Eaton Centre this weekend. Tis the season!

I don't work in retail but the malls here are crazy busy.

Just the usual people tripping over the usual people.

The big bag of feces has not yet been dropped on our heads. Wait for it.

Same thing in this here neck of the woods!

Yeppers!

Business in all areas down 30%.
