A rainy summer has hurt raspberry crops in New Brunswick, while peat moss production on both P.E.I. and N.B. is down this year. However, a warm dry August in Western Canada means the spring wheat harvest will likely begin across the Prairies next week.

Everthing is good here in Alberta- Canola, Wheat had a decent summer so far -rain a couple of days sunny and hot for a week- can't see the farmers bitchin' too much. funny tho' don't see alot of insects, not many grasshoppers, bees, Yellow jackets or wasps

Alberta should be able to become a self-sufficent province...especially with so much oil AND crops. Poor Ontario..lol

The blueberries were quite late this summer, and also raspberries, and I notice lots of the
'cow' corn in the big fields is a bit 'stunted', it was too cold early on, and not enough rain.

Everything's good here except for the lack of hot weather.

Here we have an impressive crop of Hornets and Yellow Jackets that are eating an even more
impressive crop of Flies and Mosquitoes. No shortage of Spiders chewing on all of the above...
