A B.C. man has been accused of causing a disturbance on a WestJet flight from Vancouver to Winnipeg on Wednesday, police say.
The 52-year-old man faces several charges, including mischief over $5,000, that were laid by Winnipeg police after the plane landed in the city, said Const. Natalie Aitken.
Police allege the man yelled at passengers and flight attendants, and caused damage to some of the plane's overhead panels during the flight.
"It appeared … he was quite agitated, irritable, and was kind of shouting and yelling at flight attendants as well as other passengers," Aitken told CBC News.
