The New York Giants pulled off the biggest Super Bowl upset since Joe Namath led his New York Jets past the Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III on Sunday.
Led by quarterback Eli Manning, the Giants bested the heavy pre-game favourite New England Patriots, 17-14 Sunday at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
The Patriots, paced by the Dynamic duo of Tom Brady and Randy Moss, came in to the big game sporting a perfect 18-0 record and oddsmakers had them as 11-point favourites. Many football observers were calling New England the best team the NFL had ever seen and, well, unbeatable.
So what are your thoughts on the the big game? Where does the Giants' victory rank among sports' biggest upsets? Does the blemish on the Patiriots' record change their legacy? Are the 1972 Miami Dolphins still the best the game has ever seen?
