They had no problem spending millions of dollars when they knew where the smell was coming from. All the more reason to wonder why they're so intent on circling the wagons this time around.

Public Inquiries always cost Millions. Investigators are always "Friends" who rake in fortunes. Yes there has to be an Investigation IMO, but can it be done without the full blown party that a "Public Inquiry" tends to be?
