Remember this when your Internet company complains that you are using too much bandwidth by downloading misc. items. Estimates say that for every major North American carrier, 95% of its users can be streaming high-quality video constantly and still not max out its bandwidth.

Now consider 4 out of every 5 users only use the Internet for viewing web pages and checking e-mail, and could easily get by on $10/month dial-up, instead of the $45/month DSL and cable they're paying now, and you'll see how much of a killing these ISP companies are making.
