I'm back to being a liberal...my stint as an NDP flake is over...this is a Liberal Country...the conservatives are only there to keep the expenses of being a Liberal country in check...right now is not the time for conservative thinking at all....maybe after eight years of Hilary we could use a lil bit of conservatism...

Never thought I would get apathetic about an election, but, when it's a choice between tweedledum and tweedledee................................?

If the liberals get my vote, it won't be a vote for the Libs so much as a vote AGAINST the Cons. Voting NDP would just split things up, and maybe the Cons. would get a MAJORITY??? I don't think so, this time around; but, it could happen............so has to be Lib. (convoluted?)

Mike Hairass and Lyin Bryin are too fresh in my memory to ever want to even CHANCE a con. majority. You can BET they have an agenda, both provincially and federally, and we've seen health care and education take too many whacks in their last reign. Downloading, etc., It makes me physically ill to even think of Mike Harris.............Man should be in jail. Prick.

McLiar took physio and eye exams off OHIP. And gave us the Health TAX. Maybe he'll put those back if he has a MINORITY. Seems that's the only time stuff gets done, or not.

So, just on a personal level, gotta be Libs. The Mc.Liar I know is infinitely better than the HairAss I don't....................Not too sophisticated, but there ya have it.

Xworking stiff.

Honestly, I think the whole left - right argument is really exagerated in this country.......every party is crammed into the centre..
They're crammed into the center because that's where the voters are. Extreme right or left wingers are liars.

what an idiotic statment that always comes up when someone talks about the conservatives..This Agenda issue.....

Conservatives do not have a hidden agenda!! They rather have A agenda..just like any other party. The problem is anyone on the left can't fathom that anyone would agree with a right of centre approach unless it was hidden!!

Mike Harris hid nothing...you may not agree with his ways but he laid it all out..the only difference is that he actually did it!!

Harper is suppose to have one as well....we have not seen it yet....then we are told just wait till he gets a majority THEN it will come out!!! Boy I hust wish the Government could keep something so well hidden!!!

I'd like to hear all about the secret left wing agenda....all working for China..and when all provinces and federal governments are linked up it will come out.....sounds as lame as Conservative aganda does it not??

I think its high time the Left united in Canada.

There's the NDP

http://www.ndp.ca/

and there's the Communist Party of Canada

http://www.communist-party.ca/

AND the Marxist-Leninist Party of Canada, who also claim to be the Communist Party of Canada.

http://www.cpcml.ca/

Isn't that confusing?

Why are they all separate? Can't they see they're splitting the vote?

Oh, and let's not forget the Marijuana Party of Canada.

http://www.marijuanaparty.ca/index.en.php3

Really, now, they should all be the same political party.

how can you legislate free votes....another moronic manning idea....
I didn't say it required legislation. It requires party leaders without super large egos. Idealistic perhaps. Moronic it is not.

The Libs are a right-wing party.... not a left. They signed Kyoto, pollution went up along with corporate welfare.... massive tax shelters for big businesses....

Lots of let-wing words... no left-wing actions. Plenty of right-wing action though.

The Libs are NOT left-wing, nor are they "center" whatever that means.

Plus they stole our money and gave it to their French buddies.... so they are right-wingers who are also corrupt! Great platform for a political party.... and Canadaians are stupid enough to vote for them or stay home in droves.

they also created the socialized healthcare

and they try to propagate the image of being soft cuddly wuddlies so that the largely peace-loving socialist canadian will vote for them. also all left wingers consider the liberals a better (if only slightly) alternative to the conservatives. so they definitely split the left wing vote, which is all that matters to me at the end of the day. the libs, NDP, greens, are all fighting over the same pie while the con's dont have to worry about losing their voter base to any other party.

And there we have it, the right wing rebuttal, and a good one too. Far be it from me to call anyone and idiot though.

That's the nice thing about Kanadar eh, we all get to have our own opinion, and print or shout it out loud, and we don't get hauled out of our homes during the night for doing so. I think that's kind of ok.

Oh yes, agenda: Try this: When (for eg.) Hairass was in power in Ont., nurses were equated with hula hoop gals and about 7500-8000 of them were laid off, approx. 28 hospitals were closed, and doctor training was curtailed by 10%, welfare was cut drastically. Then you had Snobelen's "create a crisis"; and guess what: He did. We're still paying the price in wait times for the cuts in health care. And the Cons would like to further "help" health care by privatizing it.

Then there's Walkerton. Ask folks there about downloading and "cost efficient" quality control..

Harris never said he would do all these things, but, he was completely honest and transparent. Sure he was. Another "compassionate" conservative.

But, being an idiot, what would I know about such things?

d'oh Nuggler.

Socialized healthcare was a gift from the late Tommy Douglas NDP. Pearson thought it was a great idea and went with it. Did you know, traditionally, the Liberal Party was the one annointed by the Catholic Church?

The Liberals simply do whatever is necessary to get in power..........
