Yep, they do. The NDP has definitely bought right into the myth that if you're really good at defending yourself against aggressors, it means you're the bad guy.

To claim to have never heard of Auschwitz is hard to accept.

To not recognize the following pic as a distinctive part of Auschwitz, well, I wouldn't have known that either as It could have been from any of the camps.

There must be more to the story.

Questions I would ask her if I was doing the interview.......

Did (do) you know the person who sent you the picture and what explanation accompanied the picture?

Did the sender not say what part of the world they were in?

Assumedly this was sent from someone you knew so did they not know where they were?

If they sent one picture they likely sent more outlining the camp.

Her response to the pic in question is strange to say the least.

And I don't believe her when she claims to not have known where that pic came.

And even if she, by some quirk of humanity she had not heard of Auschwitz mentioned via the multitude of events honouring WW2 veterans you would think a normal persons intellectual curiosity would have caused her to wonder why her friend was visiting such a place.

Bottom line is I don't believe her..........

Does she know about the human rights museum in Winnipeg with the holocaust and holodomor as central exhibits.

Come Nov 22 will dippers be aware of the significance of that day?

Lucky for the candidate until now.

I wish I didn't know what Auschwitz was.
