After much ponderous thought I must say the direction that Mr Harper and the Conservatives are moving Canada in are unprecedented and of the best value for Canada to progress to the worlds zenith of quality living for all it's citizens...........

Even on April Fools day I would not profess to vote for Harper.
or his government. There are a few that I might but not this guy.

Just think of the 2 that are lining up to replace Harper- McKay and Kenney. Now pick one of the 3 as PM? Yep and post your choice.

If you feel he's done no harm to you and yours you're not seeing the big picture. His anti-science agenda alone will do much harm to you and yours and all the rest of us too in the long term.

Nothing stopping the scienticians from getting a bunch of money together and experimenting til their heart's content... Hell, they can also release all of the info that they've compiled at their whim and have any corporate entity or other research group eat their lunch.

We have not seen a Govt lock down on information to such an extent as Harper has.

All Harper is doing is laying down the law relative who actually works for who.

As long as these people are employed by the Feds, they do not own any of the info or research that they are employed to study... It is no different than if they worked for a private company.

That said, if they want to be able to make that decision, they should put up their own cash and will be free to disseminate that research to whomever they please and whenever they want.

Jumping around the point I made. Even those darn liberals had members that dissented with policy - Not with Steve.
And the information lock down is unprecedented, excepting War. You know it as well as I do.

Not with impunity...
John Nunziata might disagree with your first statement......
