Hi there we are relatively new to Canada, we moved here with our job. And my family
And I are looking for the best places in each province that is a must to visit ; while traveling through the provinces.
Any help that you give will be much appreciated thanks.
Well for Nova Scotia, I'd say there is a lot of places you could go that are quite nice, but the most popular & the top of almost everybody's list is Cape Breton:
Just find the Cabot Trail and drive.... and drive and drive.... and drive.
Many camp grounds and stops all along the way and makes for a lot of nice pictures and scenery. It's specifically geared for tourism.
If you're looking for a city to visit that has lots to see and do, Halifax is a nice stop:
Hell, once you drive into Nova Scotia, you could pretty much go anywhere and find some place nice to go.
If you get lost, don't worry. Eventually you'll hit the ocean and you know to turn around
I'll let others suggest other places elsewhere.
Oh and if you want the best pizza you'll ever have in your life, hit Pictou County, drive into New Glasgow, park yourself on Provost Street and walk into
Acropole Pizza.
All the Pizza in Pictou County is awesome, but Acropole Pizza is considered by many as the best of the best.
Pictou County also has the most amount of pizza restaurants per capita than anywhere else in the world... Pizza's a big thing there.
(Born and raised there myself)
Well... that's what they said on Jeopardy a few years back ;-) (Saw the episode with my own eyes, not hearsay)

Sam’s Pizza in Abercrombie used to be my favorite, as well, my sister worked there for years making pizza, then moved to Acropole to work there for a few more years.... the quality kind of went with her, lol. Both are very similar to one another in regards to how the pizza is made and tastes, but there's a slight difference.

If you go to Nova Scotia, trying Pizza in Pictou County is a Must.
