Your pick: Canada's top theme

CTV today bought the rights to the HNIC theme. It's hard to believe that song will no longer be a part of saturday night hockey. I'm sure they'll find something good. Monday Night Football dropped it's classic for a new theme after a few decades. It was a similar situation, and it didn't take long for the new one to be accepted.
The only other tune that I think would be suitable is Stompin' Tom's "The Good Ol' Hockey Game".

Of those gazillion teams that watered down hockey, only six of them are C A N A D I A N
The NHL used to be something like 99 % Canadian. Now the league is full of Europeans and Russians.

We can still hear the HNIC theme on TSN. Really, I don't fault a Canadian writer for getting as much as she can for her work. CBC took advantage in selling permission for ringtones and Ms Claman got no part of that action. Bruce Springsteen won't let 'em away with that crap. Canada does bugger all for the arts
