Have you heard "Ring Of Fire"..the Johnny Cash song as done by Wall Of Voodoo. Those California boys turn it into a spaghetti western type of theme. Or,Devo, doing the Lee Dorsey "Working in The Coal Mine"?

RE: Your Fave Cover Versi

"Here She Comes Now" by Velvet Underground, covered by Nirvana, on a bootleg I found on the net before they shut all those sites down.

Rusty Cage was originally by Soundgarden.

My favourite cover is Opeth's version of a Celtic Frost song "Circle Of The Tyrants".

Rawk baby! Rawwwwwkkkkk!

Phish did a countrified cover of Snoop Dogg's "Gin and Juice" that I always thought was really cool.

I also liked Type O Negative's cover of "Hit Me Baby One More Time". I can happily admit that it's actually a pretty good song, having heard it without my bias against Britney tainting my judgement. :)
