Previously, last I heard prior to this new beer, Samuel Adams Utopia at 25% Alcohol content was the strongest beer. It is a very strong ale brewed by Boston Beer Company (Sam Adams) in Massachusetts, USA.

Would be real nice to visit Germany right now. Oktoberfest there starts on the 17th of this month (just four days away).

25.4 percent beer would certainly get your evening over in a hurry. Imagine chugging two pints of this stuff. A real pint is twenty ounces so two pints would be forty ounces. Forty times .254 would be 10.16 ounces of pure alcohol or the equivalent of downing a fifth of bourbon. Hey, you wouldn't spend a lot of time in the bar would you.
