Wolfowitz to resign from World Bank on June 30

Embattled World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz will resign at the end of June, he and the bank said late Thursday, ending his long fight to survive pressure for his ouster.

Good ridance too. That is another Bush era crony who is there with an agenda from the Washington, DC in-crowd and he is way in over his head. What bothers me is the World Bank is rooted in the aftermath of World War II and is supposed to be focusing on helping developing nations. All it does is cater to the very wealthy and their get rich quick agendas. It makes no positive contributions to the society we all live in.
