I'd go with:

$1 - replace with coin - Washington
$2 - replace with coin - Jefferson
$5 - Lincoln
$10 - T. Roosevelt
$20 - W. Wilson
$50 - F. Roosevelt
$100 - H. Truman

Hamilton was chosen for removal from the American consciousness because he was the developer the American System of Political Economy.. which promoted dirigiste economic planning and investment by government to build manufacturing and transportation infrastructure, effective tariffs to protect the development of industry and promote an integrated industrial economy, regulation of markets and commerce in the public interests, control of currency and credit in the public domain to ensure a reliable and stable system of coinage. liquidity and banking.. and policies encouraging full employment and a fair sharing of wealth

He was an arch opponent of the Free Market, agricultural and slave economies promoted by Thomas Jefferson and later Andrew Jackson.

Hamilton's system prevailed for 2 Centuries after American Independence, leading to the most successful and equitably shared economy in human history.. and has been systematically dismantled since.

It's no surprise that the Free Market cult wants to erase from public memory the fact that there are alternatives to the disastrous deindustrialization of America, the polarization of wealth and eradictation of the Middle Class.

$20 - W. Wilson, anti-Semite, resegregated the civil service, major cause of WWII
$50 - F. Roosevelt, extended the depression by years with his statist policies
The others, OK by me.

I agree. Get rid of Jackson, not Hamilton.

I'd think the national debt would be at the top of the agenda.

The internet is no place to be rational.

OK, you have now officially passed the boundary into retardverse.

I thought that happened years ago.
