Why Isn't There Nasatv.com or Csatv.ca For Pictures Of Space/Earth In Real Time?

Those of us who dig space need some instant and real time space news. We're not getting a regular space fix at all. One easy way would be cameras in space on the International Space Station or on satellites.

They get the web on the ISS, so why can't they mount a few cameras on the ISS so we could see the Earth and cosmos too? All we see is a lame picture for a few minutes of an astronaut looking out a porthole and saying, more or less, "neat." Then they conduct dull experiments. Pardon me while I yawn.

Time the space agencies got into the 21st century. Space tourism is coming. Space agencies need to get the public more engaged in this critical endeavour.

And not old videos on youtube, videos in real time.

Have you ever used satellite internet? Think extreme latencies and limited bandwidth.

Streaming video is extremely easy to set up, the tech is no mystery. The public, me for example, would watch it. It would take a little tweaking, but it could be the most popular show in the solar system. No ads, no talking, just watching the space station spin through the cosmos.
