Why Beijing’s moves on India are critical for the US; Woman sold baby to medical company: Report

India and the Chinese regime face off in the Indo-Pacific. But what exactly is Beijing’s strategy for outwitting the nation — a close friend to the U.S.? We look into the wrestling match between the two giants, over border land in the Himalayas. Working 12 hours a day, 6 days a week: a common practice among many Chinese technology firms. Now, China’s Supreme Court is taking aim at overtime work policies. A woman, reportedly caught selling her new-born to a medical company. The case suggests a child-trafficking network — and may be just the tip of the iceberg. And the U.S. State Department condemns Beijing for arresting nearly a dozen Epoch Times supporters in China. They had provided the U.S.-based newspaper with first-hand footage of the pandemic as it spread through China.

Bill Gertz: US Withdrawal from Afghanistan a ‘Strategic Success’ for China | Clip

Was the United States withdrawal from Afghanistan a ‘strategic success’ for China? The US has now officially withdrawn from Afghanistan, and President Joe Biden states that one of the main reasons for doing so was to allow the US to ‘shore up’ and refocus US military resources on greater threats. Biden pointed to the ‘serious competition with China’ that the US is currently engaged in. However, at the same time as the US withdrawal is happening, the Chinese government is developing deeper diplomatic relations with the Taliban, and some analysts say that China even wanted to get the US out of Afghanistan. To learn more about this development, and what it means for the US, we sat down for an interview with Bill Gertz, national security correspondent with The Washington Times and author of “Deceiving the Sky: Inside Communist China's Drive for Global Supremacy.”

Gordon Chang: China Building “Ethnic Specific” Bioweapon That Can Target People Based on Race | Clip

The Chinese government is developing biological weapons that can attack DNA strands specific to targeted racial groups. According to Gordon Chang, author of “The Coming Collapse of China,” these “ethnic specific pathogens” could amount to “civilization killers,” and leave China as the world’s only viable civilization. This development is happening as China amasses the largest collection of American DNA profiles, even larger than what the United States has, through the purchase of DNA sequencing companies. We sit down with Gordon Chang to learn more about why these developments necessitate the immediate attention of the US government, and of governments around the world.

Another border face-off between India, China; Fear over Huawei, explained | China in Focus

During World War I, Great Britain turned its mastery of a crucial technology into a formidable weapon against Germany. Today, another country is aiming to take over the same industry, through one of its star companies. The country is China, and the company is Huawei. In this special report, we look at how the Chinese telecoms company is helping the Communist Party achieve its global ambitions—how far they’ve gone—and what Chinese dominance of that technology could mean for the world. Cities in China’s ShanXi province are submerged in deep water. That’s due to continuing heavy downpours. It’s the biggest rainfall those parts of the province have experienced in nearly 40 years. In China, thousands gather in protest over the unexpected death of a worker. The man went to collect his delayed wages but returned severely burned. Local authorities dispatch crowds of police forces to suppress the protesters. Here are the details.
