Ha, I'm not alone, SID LIVES!!!
I have always loved Sid, I found him 78 when the CBC reported his death, they played snippets of his music(well "My Way" and his efforts with the Pistols anyways) and I was hooked. And I to lean to the Conservative side of things.
That is funny since my introduction to Sid was the evening news the day after he died as well.
I liked the idea that any shmoe in the crowd can end up in the band. It never happened to me, but then again I didn't die young either.
