2.) Non-Lethal shots is something I keep hearing. Where should you shoot thats no danger of killing people? The human body isn't that durable.

Firing a gun at someone is never non-lethal.
Waving a knife around is not non-lethal.
Small children know not to wave a knife around unless you want to hurt someone, a 21 year old sure as hell knows not to wave a knife around.
