I have now. No idea if he is right or not. Cant really do much about it either way as I dont have a mortgage or house.
Well if he is correct, I suppose it might be a good time to buy a home in the near future, when the market resets or crashes.
Hes full of it. The lower dollar is better for our economy . Why get rid of your real estate? Those of us who still have a mtg. and are close to renewal, hang on as long as you can and renew if rates start to climb. Unless you have a tiny mtg. how much will you realize in actual cash if you sell? Not much. Check around, see who will give you the best rate but do not let go of your house. This guy is full of scare tactics and ....is he Canadian? He has an accent that I do not recognize so, maybe he's not speaking in our best interests. This is only ONE MAN'S opinion. Be careful - look long and hard before you leap!
