What's the best PIM software...?

Any suggestions about what you use in Personal Information Management (PIM) software...? There are so many out there and they all claim to be the best... The one I'm using now is very good, but, I'm always on the lookout for other software user suggestions and/or recomendatons. So before I settle down with what I already have, I want to look at what others are using. Once I get real comfortable with mine; I wouldn't want to find myself transferring all my personal data all over again for another software download. I've done that too many times. I need to make a final decision on this...but that's hard for me to do.

KDE Kontact is what I use.

E-mail, addresses, To-do list, multiple calendars/day timers, news feeds, RSS feeds, journals and notes, PDA sync.

It's got it all for my needs.

That looks very interesting but I'm not yet into Linux...
Is KDE Kontact able to run on Windows?
I've been looking at the Linux platform lately, but I haven't made the decision to install it yet.

I just couldn't pass up a chance to spread the word about Linux.

No, KDE Kontact does not have a version for MS-Windows.

However, if you're curious about Linux, you know you can try it without installing or changing a single thing on your PC.

You can run Linux right off of a CD, avoiding your hard drive all together.

Kanotix is a great way to test drive, or even use Linux on a regular basis, without having to risk your existing OS.

I appreciate the use of information manager tools to make a good collection of search information for personal use. I use a software Keepoint for managing and organizing all important data collected from Internet. Its available free to download. I am fond of this site and recommend it to you.:lol:

Well actually, I found one recently that I like very much. I've looked at every suggestion and their respective websites and yes, they are good - but I kept looking... And so I decided to try this and it's great...! Thanks for all suggestions...! I definately will get Linux on CD-ROM - that seems to be really useful.

Well, guess what...?!
I've found something even better and I've never been so happy with a PIM software till I discovered this truly powerful data manager. If you have time, check this website http://www.gemx.com and see for yourself. The PIM software on the site is called do-Organizer. This is really a powerful information consolidator. Wow! Breath taking... When you purchase it, you get a "huge" image library for free with thousands of icons and clipart - really cool. They have an excellant and reliable service. Well, I don't want to sound like a salesman! This, probably, is the best data management software available. See for yourself... :lol:
