What would have happened to the US had they bombed 52 of Iran's cultural sites?

Nothing. Though I'm sure the Sultanate of Joshy would declare war. Not that anybody'd notice, mind.
Who cares what IF? They didn't. Nor would they be stupid enough to. That is an ISIS trick. You might wanna ask yourself how many cultural sites the muslim extremists destroyed in Iran re: the Zoroastrians.
Iran would have proclaimed death to America and Zionist Israel, the Dems. would have blamed Trump and tried to Impeach him, the UN would try to denounce it but be rejected, the world would say tsk, tsk you shouldn't have done it, and life would go on.
don't forget: you would have claimed climate change was a hoax and that only white people are discriminated against

So they won't get punished for war crimes and get treated like any other nation that commits them? They won't get heavily sanctioned? Blockaded? Isolated?
I am assuming the statement was first made due to relevant intelligence with weaponry being stockpiled at cultural heritage sites for the simple reason that you were pointing out (that the world would be at horde at destroying cultural sites to destroy military weaponry). I’m assuming trumps first initial mention of this was probably enough to get them to move their stock piles away from their cultural sites and not be the goats that they are being responsible for the destruction of those same cultural sites.
