I have my own alarm system....It's called "Dog".......
Even that can cause false alerts....
A couple of weeks ago at three in the morning... A series of knocks at the door wakes me up....I almost trip on the dog going to check the front and back door....
No tracks in the fresh snow, front and back....
Going back to bed I hear the knocking again, but I also see the dog out of his bed, Scratching with his hind leg and the heel hitting the hardwood floor sounded just like an urgent knock on the door....
