What was your favourite Christmas present?

And why?

I got a lovely Dell notebook, and I still have to buy it some accessories, but I don't mind since it was free. I like electronics better than almost any other gift.

The grandkids liked the digital piano I got for them. Not only is it a player piano, but a regular piano - or you can add accompaniment to your own playing. I think my oldest granddaughter like her iPod the best 'cause it's a cool thing with her peers.

A Beige Scarf

Oddly enough, despite an MP3 Player and several other intereseting gadgets, my favourite Christmas present is a beautiful beige scarf that I received. Goes awesome with almost every one of my outfits.

Well I got something I've always wanted since mine broke about 10 years ago. A shortwave radio 8) . It's great listening to radio stations from all over the world, love it.

Hey, beige is an awesome colour! lol, it goes with practically everything! Except for incompataible shades of beige. Then things can get a bit complicated. =p

hmm... a beige scarf... id probably go for something a bit darker and simpler because i am terrible at matching clothes and it would just be easier for me, but if you can pull it off with most things then go for it. I remember my french teacher in high school would always find some way to make fun of my hats, shoes or types of shirts saying that they didnt match with the rest of my outfit, and hopefully ive learned a bit now. i mean, no girls ever told me that, so hopefully that was a good sign...

My favorite Christmas present would undoubtedly be my Digital Camera. Its a Sony 5.1 mega pixles, and ive wanted one for a few years now.

I got a wonderful present! I love original art. I collect it as I can afford it -- which is not nearly as much as I would like!! One of those loves that you never have enough of.

My physician paints ... he also happens to be Shell's doc as well. There was one painting that I fell totally in love with in his office. Unknown to me, Shell has been making payments on it for months. I was so delighted to open it!!!

My doc nags me about the spirit/body healing connection, about remembering to meditate and that my mental health affects my fibro. Easy to say, but easy to forget in the day to day routine.

Every time I look at the painting, it reminds me of health, of well being and of the importance of remembering the healing value of keeping a serene spirit.

Gotta admit ... it's been a great help to me this past week! :wink:

Paradox ... a beige scarf is a perfect gift!! What material?? I'm partial to silk, but the damn stuff is so cold.

My fav was the 10th Anniversary Oz Fest DvD. It's my favorite because it's the only gift I got, and my kids gave it to me!!!

My favourite gift was a new winter coat and matching earrings to boot. And I too got a scarf but it accents my new coat and earrings. I love it when stuff like this happens.

I like it because the "stereo" I have doesn't play MP3s on CD, so with my new iPod, I just buy a FM broadcaster and boom....MP3s on my stereo.

I have a sony personal net md, didn't like it much and it was starting to cough and sputter! My mother bought the ipod and I passed the md onto my dauther.
