The last I heard was that the plasma division was moved to America so why is there no news.

Their website has a blurb about plasma. This is exciting, it is big time tech for space.

Plasma rockets have been proposed for over 50 years now. Robert Heinlein wrote a novel about them in 1948, called "Rocket Ship Galilleo".

The principle behind this is sound. The problem is, to get a functional plasma jet, you need to utilize radioactives, and people are scared witless about such things. There is no way you are EVER going to get approval to fire off a plasma rocket on this planet.
