Actually NSA, I gave that book to sparky to read, I think she read the first 10 pages and declared it dryer than a popcorn fart and returned it...I know she only read 10 pages because each page she read she left behind trace elements of what she was eating

:read2: 8O Man, I'm surrounded by brainiacs!!!

I'm reading Dean Koontz new "Frankenstein", J.D. Robb's "Ceremony in Death", "Dykeversions: Lesbian Short Fiction" and a Jonathan Kellerman novel (can't remember the name). I live for mental junk food. I also read several novels at once ... I may not read the "smart" stuff, but I read lots! ;)

I was at Pea's place and she tried her best to get me to take one of her deep, intellectual, thinker books home. Didn't happen. I love it that Pea reads all these books because then she tells me about them and it saves hours of dull reading to get a good storyline.

Anyone read any Christopher Moore? Blood Sucking Fiends, Practical Demonkeeping, Lust Lizard of Meloncholy Cove? This guy is hilarious. As is Carl Haaisen - Sick Puppy, Tourist Season, Lucky You : A Novel. These are laugh-out-loud reads. Maybe not as deep as Pea's collection, but, for my $$, way more entertaining. :) But keep reading those brain books, Pea ... it's as close to being educated as I'm likely to get! And you do tell a good story when you relate plots to me!
