hey you a fan?...i'm huge...huge fan too....
Voodoo lounge i think is their last truly great work. although a couple of tunes on Bridges over babylon are cool...wierd thing i bought the cd when it came out and can't really listen to it intently....where as voodo lounge is awesome...

I'm more of a Keith Richards fan. My favorite albums are Beggars Banquette, Let It Bleed and Some Girls. Exile on Main Street has it's moments, but the rest of it I could live without. i like a lot of their really early stuff to --- as unoriginal and ripped off as it is.

did ya catch kieth in the pirate flick? It was like this sureal moment for me. I'm 52 , been listening to this drug addicted , hedonistic band since day one.....to see kieth being paid by dysney is just wrong.....lol...

Yeah well they were original;y an R&B band. Jones had a lot to do with that and he really fussed over when satanic majestic came out...which was a wierd album for me at the time as well....i like it now cause i'm old and get a warm and fuzzy feeling with anything from that era....

gotto go do drudgery with the wife......:( cya

Satanic Majestic, forgot about that one, add it to the list. Jones and Richards were a good together and Jagger is the perfect front man.

Originally, they were a genaric R&B band, but they improved and got their own style going, IMHO. Just another group imitating Robert Johnson, Elvis and Chuck Berry.

No, I haven't seen any of the Pirate Films. I leave Disney to my daughter. :D
