It's not what I'm listening to right now ... nor is it something I EVER want to hear again; but at lunch today (Singapore noodles, if you want all the details) the restaurant had on a country station that played Faith Hills version of "Piece of My Heart". The first time I ever heard that rendition I thought it was a great sacrilege, and I haven't changed my mind.

The only thing that rivals that version is Paul Anka singing (swinging?) "Smells Like Teen Spirit".

If you haven't heard either of those singers desecrating those classics, don't go looking for them ... your life will only be the poorer for it. :pukeright: :pukeright: :pukeright:

I dunno; Sheryl Crow doing "first cut is the deepest" sucks pretty bad, and the dixie chicks' version of Fleetwood Mac's "landslide" makes me gag.

Some people can make anything lifeless and dull.

The Gorillaz ... Clint Eastwood

I love this song! Drives Shell crazy since she hates rap of any description, but this one is so funky!

These days, I am addicted to the spanish songs -
La Oreja de van gogh - Rosas (old one but always classic)
Franco de vita - Solo importas tu
Hugo - Parasiempre

I like Janiel Powter so much
