Really , there is a white only section ? Or can only far right extremists and conservatives be interested in history and the making of a madman .
I'm joking, I'd snatch up a signed copy of Hitler's book in a heartbeat for my library. I'd put it next to Decision at Normandy and The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. It is a piece of history. The self-righteous McCarthyites think that we keep it there for masturbatory purposes. But that's because they don't read anything bigger than a Meme.

Bob Gale has stepped down as chair of the Regional Municipality of Niagara amid the revelation he owns a copy of Adolf Hitler’s political manifesto “Mein Kampf” — signed by the Nazi leader himself.

Gale submitted his resignation letter on Wednesday to Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Rob Flack.

“Today, a member of the communist party circulated a dated document that listed my name as the owner of a historical book found in many libraries,” Gale wrote in his letter to Flack.

Gale did not apologize in the letter, explaining that he is a “passionate historian with a broad collection of historical art and artifacts,” some of which includes an 1859 letter from anti-slavery advocate John Brown, Vatican archives, and letters from George Washington and Winston Churchill.

Gale purchased the signed edition of Hitler’s book at an auction in 2010, according to the St. Catharines Standard.

A receipt dated Dec. shows he bought the copy for $6,345, which included $1,095 for shipping, handling and insurance, the outlet reported.

What anti-racism groups said
Earlier Wednesday, the Niagara Region Anti-Racism Association and the Justice 4 Black Lives Niagara issued a news release claiming a concerned individual notified them that Gale “owns a copy of such well-known, antisemitic literature.”

Sherri Darlene of Justice 4 Black Lives Niagara said in the release: “It’s shocking but not surprising that Niagara’s highest elected municipal official owns hate literature. It’s been no secret that racism has been a problem here for a long time, this is just one more low.”

Both groups demanded an explanation and apology from Gale, who was not elected but rather appointed chair by the province in December.

Leading move to amalgamate Niagara
Gale has been among those pushing to amalgamate Niagara’s 12 municipalities into four larger cities, but the issue has divided the region’s 12 mayors.

He told the province the region has far too many tax increases, a growing capital backlog in the billions and an inability to be fiscally prudent.

“This governance structure has resulted in a decision-making process that has led to successive tax increases of roughly 7%, 9.6%, and 6.3% over the past three years, driving the regional tax levy up by almost 25% over a single council term,” Gale wrote in a previous letter to Flack about the situation in the region.

“This is an egregious affront to Niagara taxpayers and is not sustainable.”

The now-former chair had proposed reducing the number of councillors and restructuring the region, “including potential amalgamations.”

What Doug Ford said
Ford agreed with Gale that taxes in the region are too high, there are too many politicians and that amalgamation would save taxpayers money, however, he ultimately sided with whatever the majority decides.

Any move toward amalgamation “has to be led by Niagara, simple as that,” Ford had said at a news conference in Niagara Falls.

“If it’s not led by Niagara, well, we move on and I guess the people in Niagara are going to pay double digit tax increases for quite some time.”

Dog torturer accused of terrorizing natal unit keeps scoring bail
B.C. woman could have been hit with two years in the slammer and a $75,000 fine, but wasn't.

DOG TORTURER: Lindsey Susan Hirtreiter, a power hitter in the game of life. SURREY POLICE
WARNING: Graphic details

Lindsey Susan Hirtreiter is a pretty great example of the Canadian justice system’s alternative universe.

Never mind any of that common-sense foolishness.

Hirtreiter is a veritable poster girl for Canada’s revolving door, junk justice system. And she will soon be rolling again.

Friendly dog disappears
Back in 2014, the British Columbia woman made the big time. In more self-righteous-than-thou B.C., only an alleged racial quip can land one in more hot water and social shame than harming an animal.

Hirtreiter was 23 at the time, a single mother and living in Surrey.

According to reports, on Valentine’s Day 2014, a friendly Labrador named Ryder vanished from his family’s backyard. He was discovered the next day with horrific injuries. He had been bound, beaten and stabbed multiple times. And in a sickening twist, lighters and jewelry had been jammed down his throat.

NICE: BCSPCA
NICE: BCSPCA
Enough? A belly-button piercing was shoved into poor Ryder’s eyelids and behind the socket. Only emergency surgery saved his sight.

In do-gooder Canada criminals are merely misunderstood lambs and by the golly, they would be running the Royal Bank if it wasn’t for (phobia or ism goes here). People just like Lindsey Susan Hirtreiter, 35.

Hirtreiter pleaded guilty but told detectives that Ryder had viciously attacked her four-year-old daughter. The reality is that the left coast court heard she was in a psychotic state after smoking reefer.

Court outcomes laughable
Of course, the outcome of the proceedings were laughable and just in time for new Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the clown prince of the criminally laughable. Hirtreiter pleaded guilty to one count of causing an animal to be in distress.

Huh?

She could have been hit with two years in the slammer and a $75,000 fine but instead prosecutors asked for two years’ probation and a lifetime ban on owning animals.

Huh?

RYDER: A very friendly dog. BCSPCA
RYDER: A very friendly dog. BCSPCA
And naturally, like the sun rising in the east and setting in the west, there is more. Much more.

Anyone who has ever taken the 101 on the criminal mind will tell you, animal abuse is always, always first stop on the path to violence. Then it ramps up. It is the playbook of every monster who has terrorized us physically and in our nightmares for the past 100 years.

Like the cat, she came back
On Oct. 28, 2025, our Lindsey, looking worse for wear since the dog incident, allegedly strides into the Surrey Memorial Hospital in the early morning hours. Cops say she proceeds to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit where she allegedly ditches her shirt.

And then she held multiple infants, not hers, giving them skin-to-skin contact. The result was a two-hour security incident at the hospital but don’t worry, staff and security let her walk out the door. Cops later pinched her but the judge … LOL! … grants bail at $500.

She is arrested days later for another violent crime but rated “low risk” by a judge and sprung once more

As part of her bail conditions, she was ordered to stay away from her alleged victims and all NICUs in B.C. Home would be at addiction recovery centre Glory House in Mission.

Then, like a small child on Christmas morning, the judge let’s her go on a pittance of bail. You don’t see that kind of faith at Sunday School.

‘Furious and deeply distressed’
According to Global News, a reporter went to the facility where the obviously deeply troubled Lindsey Susan Hirtreiter had been ordered to reside. Not there and they, uh, didn’t know where she was. No wonder, she was busted again Friday.

This time it was under Section 512.3 of the Criminal Code. In that instance a justice can issue a “warrant if there are reasonable grounds to believe that an accused has contravened or is about to contravene a release order.”

Hirtreiter listed a Surrey address as home. The residents said they had never heard of her.

The owner of Ryder the friendly black lab tortured by this sicko is “furious and deeply distressed.”

So should we all.

North Korea conducts engine test for missile capable of targeting U.S. mainland

SEOUL — North Korean leader Kim Jong Un observed a test of an upgraded solid-fuel engine for weapons capable of reaching the U.S. mainland, and called it a significant development boosting his country’s strategic military arsenal, state media reported Sunday.

While the test was in line with Kim’s stated goal of acquiring more agile, hard-to-detect missiles targeting the U.S. and its allies, some experts speculate North Korea’s claim may be an exaggeration. Missiles with built-in solid propellants are easier to move and conceal their launches than liquid-fuel weapons, which in general must be fueled before liftoffs and cannot last long.

The official Korean Central News Agency reported Kim watched the ground jet test of the engine using a composite carbon fiber material. It said the engine’s maximum thrust is 2,500 kilonewtons, up from about 1,970 kilonewtons reported in a similar solid-fuel engine test in September.

KCNA reported the test was conducted as part of the country’s five-year arms build-up meant to upgrade “strategic strike means,” a term referring to nuclear-capable ballistic missiles and other weapons. Kim said the latest engine test had “great significance in putting the country’s strategic military muscle on the highest level,” according to KCNA. The agency did not say when or where the test occurred.

North Korea’s report on the latest test could be “bluffing” as it didn’t disclose some key information like the engine’s total combustion time, said Lee Choon Geun, an honorary research fellow at South Korea’s Science and Technology Policy Institute.

When North Korea reported about the previous engine test in September, it described it as the ninth and final ground test of a solid-fuel engine that it earlier said would be used for intercontinental ballistic missiles. Observers predicted at the time North Korea would soon test-launch an ICBM loaded with that engine, but it hasn’t done so yet.

North Korea’s solid-fuel engine program may be facing some delays or the country might have determined to develop a better engine, possibly with Russian assistance, Lee said. Cooperation between the countries has deepened in recent years, with the North sending troops and conventional weapons to support Russia’s war against Ukraine.

In recent years, North Korea has test-fired a variety of ICBMs demonstrating the potential range to reach the U.S. mainland, including solid-fuel ones. But some of North Korea’s past claims about major weapons tests drew outside skepticism. In 2024, North Korea claimed to have successfully test-launched a multiwarhead missile, but South Korea quickly dismissed it as deception to cover up a failed launch.

Some foreign experts say North Korea still faces technological hurdles before it has a functioning ICBM, such as ensuring its warheads survive the harsh conditions of atmospheric reentry. But others dispute that assessment given the number of years the country has spent on its nuclear and missile programs.

Possession of more powerful and efficient solid-fuel engines would allow North Korea to build smaller ICBMs that can be launched from submarines or land-based mobile launch trucks, Lee said. Other observers say a push to increase the engine power is likely associated with efforts to place multiple warheads on a single missile to increase chances of defeating U.S. defenses.

North Korea has pushed hard to expand its nuclear arsenal since Kim’s high-stakes diplomacy with U.S. President Donald Trump collapsed in 2019. In a ruling Workers’ Party congress in February, Kim left open the door for dialogue with Trump but urged Washington to drop demands for the North’s nuclear disarmament as a precondition for talks.

Don't worry, they have no oil and you're not Korean who lost protection from THAAD and Patriots cuz Iran destroyed the ones that were supposed to protect Israel forcing US to pull them and redeploy in ME for Iran to destroy again.

Kingston police have yet to provide an explanation for the 2024 suspension of a deputy chief who was handed a nearly 25 per cent raise last year.
1774974565240.jpeg
Despite his suspension, Funnell went on to be awarded a 24.2 per cent raise in 2025, according to Ontario’s public salary disclosure, bringing in just over $280,000 in annual earnings.

Funnell, who's served with Kingston police since 2001, is currently on “pre-retirement” leave, according to the Kingston Police Service Board and will remain as acting deputy chief until his upcoming retirement in December.

Funnell all right. Some kinda funneling going on here.

Liberals nipping at Ontario PCs heels as lead narrows
While the Doug Ford Conservatives are still ahead, Liaison Strategies' David Valentin says support for the PCs has fallen below 40%

OTTAWA — Public opposition to recent provincial policy changes are being blamed for a loss in support for the Doug Ford Conservative government.

New numbers released Thursday by Liaison Strategies show the lead enjoyed by the Progressive Conservatives is continuing to narrow, with the governing PCs garnering 39% support — just three percentage points ahead of the Ontario Liberals.

Provincially, the Ontario NDP only managed to get 18% support, ahead of the 5% support enjoyed by the Green party.

“The PCs are still ahead this month, but their lead continues to narrow and they are now below 40%,” said Liaison Strategies Principal David Valentin. “At 39%, they are just one point above their lowest level we have ever recorded, 38%.”

GTA remains oasis of Ontario Liberal support
Despite those numbers, Valentin said, Ontarians who say Queen’s Park is on the right track increased by two points, with Ford’s approval rating likewise gaining a percentage point.

“All of these shifts, including the change in vote intention, are within the margin of error,” Valentin said. “Whether they continue moving up or down will only become clear with time.”

Indeed, despite the upward momentum of the approval, 61% of those polled still feel Ontario isn’t moving in the right direction, compared to the 33% who do and 6% who weren’t sure.

When asked how Ford is doing as premier, 31% said they approve, compared to 65% who say they don’t.

Ontario politics poll
Ontario Liberals continue to close the gap on the PCs when it comes to support among voters according to a recent poll by Liaison Strategies. Toronto Sun illustration
Provincially, the Tories enjoy the greatest support in Eastern Ontario, pulling in 46% support compared to the Liberals.

The GTA remains firmly in the grip of the Ontario Liberals, who enjoy 40% support in the 905s and 44% in the 416, compared to 38% and 34% support for the PCs respectively.

The only area where the Ontario NDP show any significant support is in south-central Ontario, where their 35% support lags just behind the Tories’ 36% but ahead of the Liberals’ 35%.

Controversial policies came at a cost
The Ford government’s decision earlier this year to “retire” public-facing metrics that track patients treated in “unconventional spaces” such as hospital hallways was a controversial one — despite government claims that the changes were being made to modernize the collection of statistics, and that the data will still be collected internally.

Seventy per cent of those polled said the government should continue reporting these statistics to the public, while 15% said internal monitoring is sufficient, and 15% couldn’t make up their minds.

As well, legislation that exempts the Premier and Cabinet Ministers from freedom of information requests fell with a thud among Ontarians, with 65% of those polled opposed to the exemptions, compared to 21% who said they support them.

The poll was conducted between March 27 and March 29, 2026, from a sample of 1,000 adult Ontarians, with a margin of error of ±3.1 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
