The world could probably use less plastic bottles littered on its ground.
While some bottles are reused or recycled, most end up in landfills or in the ocean. It could take hundreds of years for these plastic bottles to decompose.
However, one day scientists accidentally created an enzyme that can break down and destroy the bottles.
