A 31-year-old man has been arrested after a man in his 20s was stabbed to death early Tuesday morning, apparently after an argument about religion.

“It’s always an argument between one Muslim guy and one somebody else. And it’s always the Muslim guy saying ‘we’re not all bad’ and the other guy saying ‘you’re the problem’ and the Muslim guy saying ‘you guys are the problem.’ It’s just a stupid argument,” said
Sandhu. It’s the type of argument that’s happened before in the area, Sandhu added.

The argument may also have spilled into the political. “They were arguing over different countries and stuff like that,” said Jason Bissainthe-Tobin, a neighbour.

He said the argument also heated up over the English versus Hebrew pronunciations of the name “Benjamin.”

“I just thought it was usual drunken camaraderie,” he said. “It didn’t seem out of the ordinary. Again, last night was bit more heated than usual but I didn’t think it would escalate to something like this.”

Yeah, and the bible prohibits Christians from raping little kids. How's that work?

I know you posted this to make a point, but rape wasn't in the article. Beer was. Maybe it was the 'other than Muslim' guy that was pounding it back - or both. As the alcohol accumulated, they each took umbrage with the other's beliefs (or lack thereof).

Then, someone opened the door that released residents of Hades. Or, to employ a colloquialism, They got mad.

Fear not. The dregs of society will be fed cake!

Think of it as evolution in action.

Religion did not determine the outcome. I suspect anger and alcohol were the culprits.

But even if Allah's name was mentioned in the final seconds, it's just another timeless example of humanity allowing religion to negatively influence their lives.
