Vista: Hold off a bit?

The report at tamarin's link would have had more impact if there were some examples. This guy offers some. Vista apparently won't let anything but IE be the default browser, for instance, unless you're prepared to mess around in the registry to fix it, and Photoshop won't run except under Vista's hidden administrator account.

I just installed Firefox 2.0 on my Vista box. I had no problems setting firefox as the default browser, there was definitely no need to change anything in the registry. I am able to run photoshop CS2 without problems on a non-admin account, I don't see why this guy is having so many problems.

Hmm, Maybe he got that job cuz he was an English Lit. major and could string a couple of sentences together, and actually knows jack sh*t about computers. Or he's got a giant knob on the size of Florida against Microsoft.:cool:
