Several years ago there was a storm New Year’s Eve and the ocean was too crazy to go near it for the next few days. Eventually we ventured in and, long story, but I ended up with a lungful of sea water that I coughed out and carried on with my day. I was more concerned with the jellyfish that had gone between my legs earlier catching the inside of both ankles & calves…
Anyway, then I developed a cough and heavy lungs that lasted for about the next 5-6 weeks. Who knows what got into my lungs that the sea water dredged up from that storm but it sucked and eventually passed. I still have scars that show up in the summer on the inside of my ankles to this day though…..
If life started in the oceans who knows what is still out there that we still don’t know about?
