I just heard on C.B.C. radio that a healthcare user fee of $25 is about to be introduced in Quebec. Considering the news reported in B.C. this morning of an 87 year old woman in Trail B.C. with a broken leg being hauled 150 miles to Cranbrook for treatment and a man having to wait for one year for treatment for a double hernia, maybe it's about time. The system is obviously underfunded the way it is.

It's not only is it underfunded JLM, it is woefully undermanned.
