US President Donald Trump and British Ambassador to the US Peter Mandelson shake on the deal at the White House
The United States and Great Britain have announced a new trade deal.
The two great allies announced the deal with both countries bizarrely lavishing praise on the the other live on the internet, with both Trump and Starmer bigging each other up, with Trump (who is a half-British Anglophile) reminding us that it is 80 years since both countries were victorious in World War II.
The United States also announced it will reduce its tariffs on Britain as the two great Anglosphere countries once again displayed their admiration for each other.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his Labour Party will be hoping the trade deal will benefit his Government and party as both Labour and the Tories were trounced by Farage's Reform Party in the local elections last week. Farage looks set to become the next PM.
