People be very strange.

What is a 'Canada Reporter' from the headline?

I took it to mean a 'Canadian reporter.' It's the BBC; what did you expect. :)

What i don't get is how any man could thin it cool to be seen on national television saying something as foolish as 'F her in the P.' In all honesty, I'd be shamefaced to be caught in public saying something like that. Just the shame of it alone would be 10X worst punishment than any arrest.

I mean seriously, whatever has happened to men's sense of shame?

Well, all you really need to do is have a form you fill out at a government office and get your passport stamped either "SHAME WAIVER" or "NO SHAME WAIVER." Then you can behave accordingly without legal consequences.

So, Trump is coming for a visit, then?

I'm still trying to figure out what's wrong with shouting obscenities at Canada reporters.

Doesn't everybody?

So, throwing another stupid Trump reference is "trying to figure out what's wrong with shouting obscenities at Canada reporters?"

OK, you're Canadian. We try to make allowances.

How would that work? Is that what you did before shouting 'F her in the P' to a reporter?

US citizens who come and yell obscenities at Canadian reporters should get their lips sewn shut, have a hole drilled into their throat, and then have a straw shoved into it for eating and drinking.

Yes, American humour is do much better. It almost always consists of some DEEPLY ANGRY person shouting at you!.

Funny and not a pinch of that furrin irony stuff.

Wasn't the American in the article demonstrating his take on US humour? It got him arrested. And I still don't get over how he could do that to a reporter, potentially get his face on TV saying that sexist phrase, and not feel a modicum of shame about it. Is that just an American thing? Maybe he thought he'd do mama proud if she heard him saying that on TV? Something to show his daughter one day?
