US Hiding Mad Cow?

The CBC broke the story today.

There have been two possible cases of mad cow in the US. Brain tissue that could have provided definitive results has gone missing in each. Video of one of the cases (shot by the USDA) looks a lot like what we saw coming out of Britain at the height of their outbreak.

This could be interesting.

Of course they get mad cow. They just hide it, especially that they know the consequences of reporting it.

Canada and America could have had up to 100 mad cows, we may never know. The official policy has always been burn them and tell no one. But every now and then you get a dumb farmer who thinks that by reporting mad cow, he can some how save that cow.

Call me pessimistic but I don't think that the US will report much on the cow until they can find a way to link it to Canada.

Mad Cow occurs naturally in one out every million cows.That being the case theres 19 mad cows running around the US right now

Iiiiiiiiiiiinteresting, the only other way to get Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease it to engage in Cannibalism. Either there's a mad cow out there somewhere, or there's cannibals in NJ. :lol:
