While this is obviously what many call a
conspiracy site, it s could not (for the most part) be called a crackpot conspiracy site.
Furthermore, the reporter,
Greg Szymanski has many mainstream reports published by a myriad of sites and publications.
Rumors inside the military say that a growing faction of discontented high-ranking officers are attempting internally to try and stop the Bush administration’s imminent plans for war with Iran in an effort to avert global war.
Although the exact number of high-ranking military involved is undetermined, sources have disclosed it appears to be evenly split between pro Bush and anti Bush factions.
This is actually old news.
From the Pentagon down, the military has been discontent with the Bush Administration since the Bushites rejected their recommendations, and went into Iraq with 140,000 instead of the 250,000 troops that the Pentagon said were necessary.
The military have been leaking stories to get their side out. Especially since the Bushites began blaming bad intelligence and 'stop lossed' serving troops.
Further, ominous reports are even coming from the Washington Post this week that the Pentagon has developed its first ever war plans for operations within the United States, plans justifying and making necessary preparations for martial law in case of a homeland terrorist attack.
The Washington Post article was about TOPOFF (Top Official) This was a series of simulated disaster-response coordination exercises suggested in 1998. TOPOFF 1 took place in May 2000 involving only US officials, TOPOFF 2 in May 2003 included some Canadian involvement, and TOPOFF 3 in April 2005 included both Canadian and UK involvement.
The Martial Law which is mentioned in TOPOFF would be the natural result of a catastrophic terror attack, in an effort to coordinate resources, in the rescue, maintenance of vital facilities, and guarding both against looting and future attack.
Of course, when a rational person reads the phrases “Bush Administration,” “terror attack,” and “martial law,” all in the same document, the hairs on the backo f his neck begin to hackle.
In an effort to stop the Bush administration in its tracks, sources say Byrnes was about to lead a coup against the hawks in the military and executive branch determined to lead America into a global conflict, leading to devastating ramifications for the country, as well as financial and social chaos.
Here is where I become the most sceptical. Other than Sorcha Faal’s article, I can find no mention (so far) of any other report, and it does not sound likely — un-American somehow. (In the past, American coups took place in smoke-filled rooms between politicians and big business leaders, not Four-Star Generals leading a cabal of career soldiers.)
I can’t, and won’t say it is not true, but personally, I intend to hold my judgement until I can find a reliable source, probably more than one, that confirm Sorcha Faal’s claims.
I nearly got burned last January by Sorcha Faal, and I’d much rather be accurate than first.
