CIBC World Markets is forecasting that takeover fever will help to drive the benchmark index of the TSX to 15,000 by year's end.

I don't put allot of faith in forecasts such as that. It seems like the minute they start making these Bullish predictions the market tanks.

Niether do I, but hopefully this will cause a surge that will allow me the oppourtunity to sell some stuff that I have been wanting to get rid of since December. Every time I thought it was right, and was ready to call my broker, everything fell off AGAIN. Give it one straight week of growth, so I can finally sell.

All the smart investors are selling out because interest rate will be moving up soon.

This is what I heard on Business News Network today.

Oh! I hope that's right! Hope things hang in there until mid june. I have a G7 tied fund that will pay 25% if things hold. This is a 3 year thing and I made Zip the first 3 years. I have switched everything to terms and GICs At 62 I can't afford to hang in there.
