Yes. Trade deficit is a big problem. We have to print money and devalue our currency every time. And the Chines have been cooking the books for far too long to create that trade déficit. Time to hold them accountable finally.

You've got that backwards. I remember when Taiwan was a UN member, was recognized by Canada and the U.S. and when the world reached out to the People's Republic of China to join the UN ... for diplomatic recognition, they insisted that the relationships with Taiwan must go. The only solution ofered by the PPRC is a total take-over of Taiwan. Would you hand your country over to a police state like China who has considered you to be the enemy for 70 years because that is what your "two China Policy" looks like.

What i meant is that Tiawan needs to accept it will never retake mainland, as it has and continue being an independant country while be accepted by the world

If you think thst the answer to America's problems is for their military "kicking butt" wherever they want, whenever they want, the US will be stopped, eventually, just as NAZI Germany was, America will be "great" again, if your vision of "great" is an occupied, post-nuclear wasteland. One of the keys to American power is that they have not been a big enough threat to any of us that we need to stop them.
Maybe this blunder isnt so bad after all because lets face it, the majority of the world forgets Tiawan isnt a part of China and maybe Tiawan can start getting a little more love.
