Keep your dirty oil.

Trudeau says economic tools are 'far more impactful' than Putin's army

Trudeau says the strongest response to Moscow's aggression are the sanctions crippling Russia's economy.

You’re so fucking clueless..

We were not importing any Russian Oil, he stated that in his speech… it was just a photo op from the stupid stooges that eat his shit.. like you.

We are still importing refined oil products from Russia

I wouldn’t expect anything less from Biden’s puppet

Canada imports Russian oil. It's one of your favourite has-been's targets for "unethical oil" (Ezra Loservant).

Can you stop wasting my time with this obvious shit?

“They heard the feedback that it’s nice that you’ve banned the import of Russian crude, but you’re still importing some barrels of Russian gasoline and other refined products,” Rory Johnston, analyst and founder of Commodity Context, said earlier Tuesday before an expansion was officially confirmed.

The Congress is debating cutting off Russian energy imports, which form 3-10% of our total energy imports.

Wonder what the Putin-lickers will hate Biden for then?

Actually, they imported Russian oil just this year.

Oil as in Crude Oil, & Oil products and byproducts like gasoline, are two different animals.

On that note, I think we’re both saying the same thing. Canada has NOT imported Russian oil (Crude Oil being unrefined) versus refined goods which it has….so Trudeau’s first statement was an empty photo op that he was called on, so then he had to make an actual actionable gesture like your statement demonstrates.
I don’t know about this year, but the last couple years leading up to this year the Crude Oil imports from Russia to Canada where zero (& that’s even off the CBC site) somewhere buried back in this thread I’m assuming.

You got a link to Canadian Crude Oil imports from Russia in 2022??
View attachment 12523
Line 1 are petroleum products & byproducts that Canada imported from Russia per year, & Line 2 would be Oil (crude or bitumen being unrefined) in the above chart.

Fine.

I'll make this one spicy and say I strongly disagree with sanctions as the only measure here.

NATO should grow a pair and actually defend Ukraine with military support.

I don't buy the nuclear argument and think that's just brinksmanship.

So you support WWIII and possibly a Nuclear War

You really are stupid

Look what Putin did to Syria 🇸🇾 using chemical weapons.. he’s a man man.

How about you grow a pair and go fight.. you probably won’t be so brave with other peoples lives then.

Poor Poutine. It just had no gravy 🙈

Russia says deals with 'unfriendly' countries, including Canada, will require approval

A government statement showed the list of countries included the United States, European Union member states, Britain, Japan, Canada, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland and Ukraine.

To make such payments, the government said debtors should open a special type of ruble account with a Russian bank and transfer into it the ruble equivalent of the foreign currency amount owed according to the central bank's official exchange rate on the day of payment.
This temporary arrangement for paying foreign debts applies to payments exceeding 10 million rubles (US$76,046) a month.
