I've said repeatedly I don't like Trudeau, I think he's an ass.

But I saw this in a conversation about the convoy and I gotta agree to the point:

Maybe some of his issues about it are seeing the flags of Fuck Trudeau all over, and people en mass shoving it in his face that he sucks. I mean, it's okay for a few hours to shout that shit, but for days on end? I imagine he's a tad stressed, and perhaps even concerned about how this will affect his kids.

*shrugs*

He's still an ass, but so is every other leader.

And, well, it's not like the Feds can nix all mandates, and, well...

This shit just needs to stop, they need to go the hell home and back to their jobs; if they have any after this.

But wait! I have another theory! Revenge of the Nerds-

The bullied outcast Nerds of society all grew up and went to Silicon Valley and entered Politics. Hence, they control most of the social media information...and politically enact laws against the rest of us imperfect people.

Society is being run by the misfits we all grew up with and couldn't stand in High School.

Eh? Huh??

Holy fuck Dude.... a 30 year old complaint against deregulation and free trade because canadian truckers felt hard done by competition??? Not even close to the same thing nor to the extent this shit is.
That is your example of previous protests? LOL. Pretty lame Dude.
Geez, there must be a wagon train blockade you could dig up too LOL

Well ya smarmy little fuck, it was YOU who requested specifically, "Please enlighten us about previous trucker convoys against the feds and what that may have been about."
Well, that's one (there have been others) and yet you have a fucking whiny problem with your request being answered. You didn't specify parameters, you just wanted to know which previous times truckers protested the Fed and why.

Don't get all pissy with me just because your ignorance was exposed and then try to belittle their 1991 protest because you weren't around at the time. I guess the only protests that matter are the ones that happened while you've been alive eh?

Seems like all political parties have had enough of this shit. Even the NDP says to take away the commercial licenses for all the protesters (Horwath)
This is no longer just Trudeau .... it is all political parties.
Oh yeah, taking their licences away won't cause a further prolonged disruption in supply at all. Whore's Bath is the kind of moron who would council for slitting one's own throat to prevent hunger pangs.

Meanwhile, ALL of the stunned cunts on the left had no problem with disruptive protests in the middle of a pandemic over something that happened in a foreign country, ie: George Floyd. Yep, they'll even excuse the torching of churches, they'll support the blockading of infrastructure by leftist trash and defacing and toppling statues of historic figures, they'll even ignore court injunctions and break the law to protest, but god forbid some truckers honk their horns.
Fucking pathetic.

It's Non-Binary Potatohead!

Or should that be "Non-Binary Rootvegetablehead?" Wouldn't want carrots, turnips, onions, and suchlike to feel discriminated against. . .

Hey, 30 year old shit ain't worth even bringing up.
Being pissy? Ha, you ain't seen nothing yet if you keep being insolent and fruitless.
And yes, those that live in the past will never move forward.

Ha!.
Taking away the licences of those protesting would not affect the supply chain at all. Real truckers are still working and supplying unless they are blockaded by their "fellow" truckers.
Besides, the non vaccinated truckers can only do local supply and only if they let the real truckers bring in the goods.
Once people are stuck with no gas, produce and auto workers get laid off because of the blockades, the support will rapidly diminish.

My dear old Dad used to use the expression...

"Son? He knew the price of everything, the value of nothing."

With the advent of Free Trade and the opening up of Global Markets in the mid 90's, it became all about costs and savings. The 'value component' that was fuelling the livlihoods of the people fell by the wayside in my opinion.

And so here we are today. i don't think this is going to end well.

How much a person suffers will depend entirely on how resistant he is to change, like the guy who insisted on keeping his buggywhip factory open after the invention of the automobile.

Or Eastman Kodak.

It's OK, we'll all just have to get rich on Bitcoin!
