For those of you that have never been out to a Canadian Institute for International Affairs(CIIA) event before - they usually consist of the following:

1) A brief speech by each of the panelists.
2) Some heated debate back and forth
3) Many questions and comments from the floor (this could be you)
4) Mingling while drinking wine and eating cheese afterwards.

So, if you are in the Toronto area - this is a great chance to actually get your opinions heard by influential people and actually make a difference. Past speakers at CIIA events have included former Prime Ministers, various ambassadors to Canada, cabinet ministers etc.

At the very least, you'll meet other real life people who have just as much opinion as yourself, when it comes to debating Canadian politics.

HOT OR NOT?
