No I chose to ignore you bias BS and see it for what it is...
What did I say that's biased?
and Colpy has no established fact to back up his accusations either.

Your whole silly spin, you're trying cast a shadow of some sinister deed on something that is rather binine. I've seen your rhetoric in all sorts of posts. You wailed and whined that the Harpo conservatives were shutting down SoW offices and such, etc. What did I say that's biased?

Ahh, did I touch a sore spot?In other words you've got nothing.
I can't believe CC has become this desperate for traffic.
Ahh, did I touch a sore spot?
Need a hug widdle man?
The same could easily be applied to your misleading and obviouly ment to maline post on an assumption/opinion on your part and nothing more.
I knew exposing you, would ruffle your timid and rather sensitive feathers. What's next? Spelling lessons?
Could you point to when you had anything but conjecture and a lie?
That was an awsome rebuttle, do you have some relavent proof that this is somehow the corruption you were hoping would surface in the conservative caucus? You know, the proof you need to justify your assinine biased views?....
"Until then all the sanctimonious babble that passes for informed insight into the Canadian condition is as unworthy of respect and civil regard as any other fantasy married to a willingness to deny the truth of the character of our "system"."
What a bunch of absolute drivel. Why don't you go and live in Afganistan or Haiti? Talk about sanctimonious, your rant is typical of someone who is full of complaints and yet doesn't do anything about it! If you really feel that impassioned, instead of whining about the society you live in, get off you a** and do something about it. I may agree with you about the level of distrust in politicians, but at least they have done more than the vast majority of us and actually put themselves in the position where they can be scutinised publically.
As much as your post was humourous Mikey, your posts as of late, with regards to me have been enlightening, stimulating and challenging. I prefer that side of you. It is the side of a well healed and educated man of many yaers and wise experience. This post however, resembles some of my rather brash and judgemental pieces, as I succome to asshatry when provoked, which I have been battling as well as I can as of late. LOL.Sure I've got thirty seconds tell me everything you know...about everything including WHAT I HAVE OR HAVE NOT DONE.
I write letters and e-mails on at least a weekly basis to both MPs and MPPs. I've participated in protests on Parliament Hill, I've attended meetings with Chris Bentley and Dalton McGuinty, I've sat with Sue Barnes and other MPs in a "town-hall-meeting" format in Ottawa and Toronto...
The list goes on and on...so tell me my friend, once you give up your enthusiasm for snap judgement and fatuous horseshcit is there anything about you with more substance than the hot air you think conveys considered opinion?
Go back to trying to figure out which shoe goes on which foot and when you've got a clue about anything more complex than that...then maybe you'll have something to say...
Until then your opinion regarding who I am and what I do is about as germane to these forums as that gooey stuff we scrape off our shoes after we've been to the movies....

That is exactly what Bit wants you to think, and it would be wrong.I'm sorry but I'm not a Liberal or a Con but lets be honest Harper's party got caught with their cough-cough pants down. In accounting it's called debit or credit and the Cons got caught cheating the system. I think it's funny, the Cons always say they are a moral government and yet get caught with their fingers in the cookie jar stealing or excuse me diverting funds using the Liberal mantra of it's not cheating I read the rules wrong. Too funny, the Cons using the Liberals rules of Engagement. I'm still laughing.:laughing7:
Couldn't agree with you more...You're right. It IS nothing like Adscam. One important difference is with Adscam no elected officials were found to be aware of the illicit activities. To date with the convention scam Harper himself has been found to have participated in the scheme, which in contrast to Adscam was explicitly designed and agreed to by the party in toto (and in Baird's case, with snickering no doubt) to swell their coffers.
Given the novel interpretation of regulations was entirely out of step with not only the other federal parties but the originating CPC parties themselves, if nothing else it demonstrates a total lack of prudence (which is generally considered a conservative virtue). Due to the radical nature of the interpretation, proper prudence and due diligence would have prompted soliciting an interpretation from Elections Canada PRIOR to enacting the policy. Such a measure is conspicuous by its absence. All the more reason to consider the CPC's interpretation a more matter of convenience than sound consideration and their current financial position to be suspect.
I think it is incumbent on the CPC to place $2.24M in escrow until a complete and independant audit establishes the exact amount that was contributed to the CPC accounts improperly. Time for Stephen to put his money where his mouth is. The use of ill-gotten gains by any political party is a theft of the democratic process.
Umm, the conservatives did disclose contrabutions/donations. The liberals stole my money and gave it to themselves and their friends.
Since you have obviously missed the class on this...Your money? Your a native, since when do you pay taxes?

If you actually believe the PMO and the Finance Minister had no hand in Adscam, I have some property for ya down south, real cheap too.
If neither office had any idea of the wrong doing, then at the very least it shows the complete and utter incompedence in the liberal party. Further proof they are unfit to lead.
Well, at least they aren't conning and stealing funds like another crew that had the reins of power in Canada that I can think of. Just ask Jean ChRETIeN and aPAULing MartinNot a big surprise. They are politians, are they not. They still smell better then the liberals, at any rate.
The Gomery report was a sham.If you think the Finance Minister would be expected to have knowledge of PMO operations without acting beyond his or her mandate then you don't understand the system. IMO Gomery's exoneration of Martin is not at all unexpected or exceptional. AFA Cretien's part in it, having spent enough time in the food chain of large organizations to get the hang of it, I find it perfectly feasible that Cretien managed to launch a ship and remain blissfully unaware it was in the hands of pirates. Such is the insular nature of accountability and lack thereof, accidental or (all too commonly) otherwise, endemic within all corporate structures. On that account I find Harper and Cretien equally remiss.
I don't presume to know more than Justice Gomery and consider it prejudicial to attribute guilt to an entire group when there is no compelling reason to believe injustice was the result of the actions of more than a few (presently named) bad actors. To the contrary, to assume the complicit silence of the entire party for all the years the scandal was taking place assumes far too much competence on their behalf to lend credibility to the theory.
