I read this article earlier and I was compelled to wonder why on earth they feel the need to bring the guy's body out for folks to ogle at? I also admit to not being Catholic, so perhaps there's something to it that I just don't get. I'm sorry to say, my only reaction was ICK.

Religion sure has some strange ways of expressing itself sometimes.

Religion sure has some strange ways of expressing itself sometimes.

This isn't religion IMO, this is idolatry. It's one thing to think that the saints gave us good lessons to live by, did wonderful works. It's quite another to dig their bodies up and sit around worshipping them.

But, proof that it's idolatry driving it and not religion... dig up Elvis and I guarantee he'd draw even bigger crowds.
