And most people would be wrong. I don't wish to be a stick because it will attract men, I wish to be a stick because I have a very short torso and long legs... stick thin is the healthiest for my particular body type... we need to get away from what we "like" and concentrate on what is healthy. That would be awesome.

It seems to me that young adults are striving for individuality but it doesn't seem to extend to their bodies when it comes to proper weight for body type.

don't know any more Twila, a short while back they were all fat with big rolls hanging over their pants and wearing mid-drift shortie tops, now there are slimmer girls out there again that look like most of the kids looked like when I went to school

back in the day there would be one or two heavy kids per class

for a while there were one or two skinny kids per class

now it seems to be getting back to a more normal body size

the little girl in the picture looks healthy to me

Ugh; really? Surprised the mother doesn't sue.

I hate this whole "BMI" crap because it's just that, crap. People's bodies are different, too different to use something like this to say absolutely that they're obese or not. The shape, the settlement of fat, the structure of the skeleton; all that factors in. When are people going to stop using this POS test and use a range of weight with a little brain power to determine if someone is overweight or not?
Heh-heh, I love the BMI. When I first heard about it, I asked a nurse I knew. She gushed all over how much better BMI is than the old height-weight charts. So, asks I, how do they calculate a BMI? With a perfectly straight face, she told me that it was derived from your weight in relation to your height.

I didn't even chuckle, mostly because I was angling for a blowjob later that night.

Good news is, I got the BJ.

BMI can be a good general indicator if done properly, but that has to include muscle mass as well as fat distribution as well as height and weight...

we have to know our own body

torso fat is much more of a problem than thigh or butt fat
thus for people who collect the weight there such as myself we are better off underweight according to the charts

it's subjective

Well, if you liked it enough to emulate it, tell your guy he owes me a beer!
oh puuuuuuuuuuulease don't encourage him...he needs zero encouragement...aren't guys in their 60's supposed to have problems with still functioning like they did in their teens....'pparently not
