I am right. One last tidbit for the non-believers in this thread. When a soldier deploys overseas on a tour they receive various pay incentives. When you deploy to 'Ghan (and this pay plan has existed since 2001) you get:

-Foreign Allowance Pay
-Displacement Pay (if you're married)
-Tax exemption (for the duration of your tour)
-Danger Pay - Level III
-Combat Pay

The defence rests.

Well, as for the opposition parties....

We've finally given liberals a war against fundamentalism, and they don't want to fight it. They would, except it would put them on the same side as the United States.

Now on a peacekeeping mission would you get combat pay as well for example Cyprus, or Sudan?

No, then why isn't that reported in the Media, get to know what the real mission in Afghanistan is instead of having the media label the soldiers peacekeepers and have this misconception.

Someone should have corrected the media and whoever else, Layton and the NDP and other parlimentarians on what the mission in Afghanistan actually is and was.
